AN ORIGINAL BY ANDY
THE STORY
A slow A minor blues suspended between scales
Dreamy Minor Blues unfolds over a slow 12-bar progression in A minor. The lead begins with the familiar weight of the Blues scale, then introduces the major second and minor sixth from Natural Minor to widen the tonal palette. Those added notes soften the edges of the traditional blues language and create a more suspended, atmospheric mood, while bends and unhurried phrasing preserve the soulful center of the piece.
