Here’s another video for the Easy Blues Solos series. I wrote this solo on a 12-bar shuffle blues in the key of C, at 82 BPM. It’s a medium tempo that feels great for working on groove and phrasing without rushing. The licks are built mainly around the C Major Pentatonic and the C Blues scale, so you’ll hear that classic mix of sweet major color plus bluesy attitude… all in a simple, very playable format. Have fun with it, lock into the shuffle pulse, and try to make every phrase “sit” on the groove!
