Hello everyone!
Here’s Part 2 with tabs of my Christmas Jazz Blues in Bb: the first solo that comes right after the theme (Part 1).
This section (together with the next chorus I’ll post soon) is where the tune gets more jazzy. The solo starts with a more bluesy opening using Bb major & minor pentatonic, then from bar 7 to bar 10 I switch to a more “inside” approach, outlining the chord changes with arpeggios over this progression:
Bb7 → Cm7 → Dm7 → G7♭9 → Cm7 → F9
After that, I come back to a more classic blues phrasing to close the chorus.
