In this video, I show you how to mix the Pentatonic major and the Pentatonic minor using the vertical approach. It consists of using two different boxes (one for the Pentatonic major, the other for the Pentatonic minor/Blues scale) on the same fretboard area. This concept will be better explained in the new upcoming method.
LICK 1: C PENTATONIC MAJOR (2nd BOX) + C BLUES SCALE (1st BOX)
LICK 2 – C PENTATONIC MAJOR (4th BOX) + C BLUES SCALE (3rd BOX)
LICK 3 – C PENTATONIC MAJOR (2nd & 3rd BOX) + C BLUES SCALE (1st EXTENDED BOX)
LICK 4 – C PENTATONIC MAJOR (4th EXTENDED BOX) + BLUES SCALE (3rd & 4th BOX)
