Semitone (Half-Step) bends are a powerful tool and can create really interesting colors. There isn’t any semitone interval between the notes of the Blues scale (apart from the Blue note), so we need to add two notes taken from the Aeolian or the Dorian mode (the choice depends on the harmonic context). For this video, I added a major 2nd and a major 6th from the Dorian mode, creating two semitone intervals (between the major 2nd and the minor 3rd, between the major 6th and the minor 7th).
