My solo on All Along The Watchtower – Part 1
I’ve decided to divide my solo on All The Watchtower, posted yesterday here on Patreon, into six parts. I’ve been teaching this solo to my students for many years with good results, and I hope it will help you develop more ideas around the Blues scale, Natural minor scale, and double-stops across the fretboard!
This first part uses some double-stops from the chords, short Pentatonic minor licks, and chord inversions. I also provided a Bonus video with the solo played at a slower tempo.
The song is in the key of B minor.
