With this video, I show you a summary of the four main Blues scale positions across the neck. The principle is to organize the scale patterns around two independent fingerboard positions: the first with the root on the sixth string, the second on the fifth string.
These are the steps to follow:
1. Find the ROOT on the 6th and 5th strings.
2. The 1st BOX and its extended pattern starts from the 6th string.
3. The 4th BOX and its extended pattern starts from the 5th string.
Take into consideration that the fingering is a primary aspect. That’s why I included a PDF with the corrected fingering for every scale pattern shown in this video.
