Hello everyone!
Here is the first part of a solo I posted last month, playing on a 5-chord progression in A major: Amaj7 – Fdim7 – F#m7 – C#m7 – Dmaj7
The diminished chord (Fdim7) sounds very sweet between the Amaj7 and F#m7 chords. I played a lick using a diminished arpeggio over that chord, while the rest of the solo is centered around the Pentatonic major.
