Inspired by Cold Day In Hell – Gary Moore.
Here is one of my favorites, Cold Day In Hell by Gary Moore. I’ve been teaching this solo for many years as I consider it a significant example of how to play the Blues scale across the fretboard with intense vibratos and bends, artificial harmonics as well as palm muting technique.
The song is in the key of C# minor, in 4/4 tempo at 98 bpm.
I recorded this video with my Gibson Les Paul Classic through a Kuro Custom Audio PhA Overdrive, a bit of fast delay from the Strymon TimeLine and a Marshall 1959 SLP amp.
