Here’s the main theme for my Shuffle Blues in E, which I posted a few days ago. The licks within this first part are centered around the Open Box of the Blues scale with an added major 3rd on the E7 chord.Harmonically speaking, the progression is a 12-Bar Blues, where I replaced the V7-IV7 before the turnaround with an IIm7-V7.
