Hello everyone!

Here’s “Easy & Expressive Blues Solo in A Minor #2”: an easy, expressive solo in A minor, played over the same 12-Bar Minor Blues shuffle backing track (110 BPM).

In this video I’m basically replaying the same main theme from #1 (with small variations), but one octave higher, using the 4th Extended Box of the Blues scale.

Micro-bendings (very important!)

Instead of “big” bendings, this solo focuses on micro-bendings to make notes speak.
In the tabs you’ll see them marked as ¼-tone bends, meaning: tiny pushes for expression rather than full, dramatic bends.

What to focus on

  • micro-bends: small move, big emotion
  • intonation (¼-tone bends must be controlled, not random)
  • light vibrato + good timing on the shuffle feel
  • connect positions so you can switch octaves naturally
