Hello everyone!
Here’s the second solo from my tune “Fast Train Shuffle in A”, complete with tabs… and this one’s definitely the trickiest of the three!
It kicks off with an Am7 arpeggio, followed by some horizontal licks that move up the neck to reach the 4th box of the Blues scale. Then it jumps back to another Am7 arpeggio, leading into two fast phrases in sixteenth-note quintuplets before landing back into some classic licks that mix the Major and Minor Pentatonic sounds.
It’s a challenging solo, but super rewarding once you get it under your fingers!
