Here’s the first solo from one of my new tunes “Fast Train Shuffle in A”, complete with tabs!
This solo kicks off right after the main theme (you can check that part here).
It opens with a cool ostinato in eighth-note triplets (a three-note chromatic figure built around the b3, major 3rd, and perfect 4th, played in alternate picking for four bars).
From there, it flows into a series of groovy licks that blend the Major and Minor Pentatonic sounds… that classic blues contrast that keeps things spicy and melodic.
