Hello everyone!
Here’s the first part of one of my new tunes Swingin’ G Shuffle. This one’s all about the main theme.
The whole melodic idea revolves around switching between major and minor pentatonics, really playing with that tasty tension between the major 3rd (B) over G7 and the minor 3rd (Bb) over C7.
On the V7 (D7), I’m using the D major pentatonic to spice it up even more.
