AN ORIGINAL BY ANDY
THE STORY
A bright major journey that turns toward the blues
Change of Plans begins in G major with open, melodic phrasing drawn from the major pentatonic scale. At bar 15, the harmony shifts to B minor and the lead adopts the darker pull of the Blues scale. The contrast between the two tonal areas gives the solo its identity, blending country, pop, and blues colors into a single narrative that moves from brightness toward tension.
